adjuster specialist, you’ll play a critical role managing attorney
represented bodily injury (BI) claims. An ideal candidate will have
experience managing an inventory independently, experience
assessing and evaluating liability, coverage, and damages, as well
as working independently and directly with attorneys to negotiate
and settle claims. By joining our organization, you’ll have the

responsibilities. This is a hybrid role, which means you’ll work
in-office two days that are selected by local leadership and choose
where you want to work the other three days, whether that’s at home
or in the office, for a period of 12 months. After that period, the
days you’ll be expected to report to an office for important
meetings, training, and collaboration will vary based on business
need. In this hybrid work environment, you’ll be supported by your
leaders and tenured colleagues to develop relationships, establish
connections, and share practices that are important to your
development. If you prefer an in-office environment, you’re welcome
to work in the office as often as you would like. Duties &
responsibilities (upon completion of training) - Determines
coverage and liability - Negotiate with claimants or their
attorneys - Settle claims and set reserves - Estimates cost of
treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents - Analyze
and interpret medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and
manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution - Interview,
collect and document information from various people such as
claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police Must-have
qualifications - Four years of relevant work experience with one
year in claims handling OR - One year in claims handling and a
bachelor’s degree OR - Three years of relevant work experience with
one year in claims handling and an associate degree Preferred
skills - Auto and/or commercial insurance experience Location: New
York Compensation - $65,000 - $95,000/year (salary range depends on
location and experience) - Gainshare annual cash incentive payment
up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
