Salary and Benefits Competitive hourly rate based on experience Health Insurance – AmeriHealth (Employee covers 70%) Dental Insurance – Horizon Dental Total Care Vision Insurance – Included Vacation – 3 weeks (120 hours) annually Holidays – 8 days annually Personal Days – 2 days (16 hours) annually Sick Time – 5 days (40 hours) accrued annually Bereavement Leave – 5 days (40 hours) for immediate family Life Insurance – 3x annual salary up to $250,000 Credit Union Membership Tuition Reimbursement Program Direct Deposit Free Parking Facilities Supplemental Life, AD&D, Critical Illness, and Accident Insurance Temporary Disability – NJ State Plan Long-Term Disability – 60% of salary to age 65 (Own occupation; eligibility starts 1st of the month after 1 year) Retirement Plan – 403(b) with 50% match after one year of employment, up to 3% of annual salary Responsibilities Assist in managing Epic work queues, claim edits, payer rejections, and cash posting Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility Submit accurate and timely insurance claims Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve denials Communicate with patients regarding balances and payment options Maintain accurate billing records and EHR documentation Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, HRSA, and other regulations Collaborate with clinical staff on documentation and coding concerns Support and collaborate with billing vendor on claims and accounts receivable Handle correspondence with insurance companies, patients, and auditors Document and process account adjustments per policy Stay updated on regulatory and payer changes impacting FQHCs in New Jersey Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Revenue Cycle Management Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred (5 years of experience may substitute for degree) 2–3 years of experience in a healthcare or community health center setting preferred Knowledge of medical billing systems, coding, and insurance plans including Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs, MVA, Workers Comp, and dental plans Experience identifying and solving operational problems Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills EPIC EMR experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule About Us Titan Placement Group is a permanent placement healthcare recruiting firm that is bridging the gap between healthcare companies and high-quality candidates.
