Job Description Job Description Essential Job Duties and
Responsibilities: Knowledge of all Building Maintenance Service
Repairs. Skilled in carpentry, cabinet, floor installation, ceramic
tile, framing, plumbing and electrical work. Able to demo and
install ceramic wall and floor tiles. Able to level floors and
walls Knowledge of wall blocks wall replacement and repairs. Able
to remove and install all bathroom wall and floor tiles, plumbing
fixtures, ex toilets, sinks, spindles, tub spouts, shower heads
etc. Must have accurate measuring skills to shape, cut materials to
specified measurements using hand tools, machines or power tools
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe
and clean environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is
plus. Work Experience and Minimum Requirements: 1 to 3 years of
experience in building maintenance/restoration work Working
knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the
construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures.
Knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements related to performing
maintenance repairs Must be available for emergency work Valid
driver license (NY, NJ, CT, PA only) Bi-Lingual is a plus Testing:
Drug screening, as permitted by, and consistent with, applicable
law. Physical Requirements: Persons performing service in this
position classification may routinely exert up to 80 pounds of
force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. This
type of work will involve regular walking or standing for extended
periods of time. It may involve stooping or bending. Handling and
working with various materials and objects are important aspects of
