Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following : Plan, prepare and deliver daily lesson plans and instructional material for an average of 10-12 students, with a maximum amount of 15; in a small group setting Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction Communicate necessary information regularly to students, hospital and parents regarding student progress and student needs Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies Updating daily attendance and creating daily session reports for each student Position entails a 40-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday. Infant Room Teacher Requirements and Qualifications Must meet all state licensure requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Patient and compassionate to young children's needs and emotions High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility Must be (or be willing to start) pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) OR a degree in the field By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
