Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A school district in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Special
Education Teacher for an elementary inclusive classroom on a
contract basis for the current school year. This position is to
fill in for medical leave with potential to extend the assignment.
The role offers an opportunity to work onsite in an engaging
educational setting with strong support staff. Key
Responsibilities: Teach and support a caseload of 10-11 elementary
students with special education needs Collaborate with 1.5
paraeducators providing classroom support Deliver instruction
adapted to meet individual student goals in an inclusive classroom
environment Manage daily classroom activities from 8:30am to
3:30pm, Monday through Friday Qualifications: Valid Connecticut
Special Education teaching licensure Experience working with
elementary-aged students in special education Ability to implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) effectively Strong
collaboration and communication skills to work with support staff
and families Location: Onsite at an elementary school in Waterbury,

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.50 to $55.00.
