year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A 1099 contract position is available for a skilled
Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services
within a school setting. This role is based in Brooklyn, NY and
offers the opportunity to provide essential communication support
for students requiring sign language interpretation during remote
consultations and educational sessions. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver accurate and clear sign language interpretation for
telehealth appointments and educational activities. Facilitate
effective communication between students, educators, and healthcare
professionals. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical
standards in all interactions. Collaborate with educators to ensure
accessibility and inclusivity in virtual learning environments.
Adapt interpreting techniques to suit the needs of diverse learners
in a school setting. Required Qualifications: Proficiency in
American Sign Language (ASL) with demonstrated interpreting
experience. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote
