Posting Summary The Graduate School of Applied and Professional
Psychology ( GSAPP ), Rutgers University invites applications for
Par Lecturer teaching positions for several doctoral level courses
in the clinical department to fit required coursework or high-needs
electives. Opportunities for recurring appointments exist. A

Candidates will assume primary responsibility for developing or
refining the course syllabus, presenting high quality lectures,
running class discussions and other teaching activities, and
evaluating students based on course expectations and program-wide
competencies. PTL’s are expected to adhere to high quality
instructional practices that integrate multiple modalities and
approaches, such as whole class lecture, small group activities,
videos, role playing etc. Hybrid formats using a combination of
online and in-person platforms may be applied with the appropriate
plan. Courses in search of a PTL include: Biological Basis of

(18:820:505), Learning Disability: Psychological Assessment
(18:821:558), Statistical Methods and Research Design (18:820:581),
Adult Psychopathology (18:820:565), Advanced Statistics and
Research Design (18:820:585), Cognitive Assessment (18:820:633:01),
Treatment of At-Risk Minority Adolescents (18:821:538),
Psychological Interventions with Ethnic Minority Clients
(18:820:570), Health Psychology (18:821:561) or Behavior Medicine
(18:821:631) Clinical Interviewing and Assessment (18:820:531)
Preferred Qualifications Prior teaching at college level and/or
related experiences
