Posting Summary The Graduate School of Education at Rutgers
University seeks an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice
with a primary emphasis on education leadership. This position
presents an opportunity to grow our dynamic new leadership
preparation program and mentor the next generation of school and
district-level leaders. The Professor of Professional Practice role
focuses primarily on teaching and program coordination, with
opportunities to create and contribute new visions. The successful
candidate will join a vibrant school of 60 faculty members working
across a range of education fields. Located on the New Brunswick
campus, this is a term appointment, academic year, nine-month
position with the opportunity for summer employment, dependent on
the availability of funds. The position is eligible for a
partial-remote work arrangement. Review of applications will begin

position has a negotiable start date, depending on the availability

Preferred Qualifications 1. Earned EdD or PhD with emphasis in
school leadership or a closely related discipline 2. Ability to
lead and organize programs to promote effective student progress 3.
Effective teaching at the college/university level 4. Experience
with teaching via online instruction and distance education
delivery
