power?conversion applications. Electrical Engineer We are currently
seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our Budd Lake NJ location
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design
and development of advanced mixed-signal electronics used in
high-precision navigation and power?delivery products. This role
includes hands?on design of analog, digital, and power?electronic
circuits, including inverter stages, generator interfaces, and
high?reliability power supplies. The ideal candidate will be
capable of taking ownership of sub?systems from concept through
verification, with strong analytical skills and a passion for
building robust, high?performance hardware. Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyze analog and digital circuits for precision data
acquisition and control systems. Develop inverter and
generator?interface circuitry, including AC/DC and DC/AC
conversion, filtering, and protection schemes. Develop schematics,
support PCB layout, and validate performance through lab testing.
Conduct simulations and worst-case analyses to verify compliance
with requirements. Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and
systems engineers to ensure seamless integration. Participate in
design reviews and assist in resolving design and production
issues. Support documentation, test procedures, and design
verification reports. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering. 2-5 years of experience in circuit design,
testing, and product development. Proficiency with schematic and
PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, or equivalent). Solid
understanding of analog/digital fundamentals, signal integrity, and
power distribution. Experience using lab equipment such as
oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies. Strong
problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Preferred
Skills: Experience with power?electronics design (inverters,
converters, generator interfaces, motor?drive stages, or similar).
Familiarity with FPGA, MCU, or embedded system interfaces.
Experience with SPICE, Simulink, or MATLAB for analysis and
modeling. Exposure to MIL-STD or aerospace/defense hardware
requirements. Knowledge of sensor systems, inertial navigation, or

compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for
this role is 96,000-$130,000. Emcore also offers a variety of
