• Facilitating activities, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness
• Creating or overseeing activity spaces where campers can select activities
• Supporting campers through various activities such as sewing, animation, arts, recreation, and more (specific responsibilities vary; speak with the local director for details)Additional Responsibilities
  • Supervising campers actively
  • Maintaining organized and approachable activity spaces
  • Ensuring compliance with camp policies
  • Reporting incidents, injuries, and notable concerns
  • Managing camper allergies and dietary restrictions
  • Updating camper profiles with daily updates and photos
  • Chaperoning campers on off-site trips when requiredCandidate Qualities
    • Excited about guiding kids in decision-making
    • Calm under pressure and able to de-escalate situations
    • Comfortable leading groups independently and collaborating with a team
    • Physically capable of keeping up with energetic children and lifting up to 40 lbs
    • Passionate about sharing knowledge and learning from childrenMinimum Requirements
      • At least 21 years old with a HS/GED or bachelor's degree
      • 24 weeks of previous administrative or supervisory camp experience; or experience as a teacher or after-school program director with one summer of supervisory camp experience
      • Bachelor's Degree preferred
      • Permission to be contacted via email or text upon application and acceptanceAdditional Requirements
        • Management or leadership experience, including hiring and managing teams of 5 or more, preferred
        • Availability to be on-site during camp; remote work is possible during off-season for planning, recruiting, and promotion
        • Physical stamina for outdoor activities and extended periods on your feet
        • Ability to run break camps throughout the year
