Job Description Riverside Pediatric Day Health Service Program seeks Full Time Pediatric RN Nurses, tired of working weekends, nights, and holidays? Come join our team of dynamic professionals caring for medically fragile children (birth to 6 years old) at the Riverside Pediatric Day Health Service Program (a Pediatric Medical Day Care) located in Trenton, NJ. This position requires an active NJ RN license and current BLS for health care workers. PALS is a plus but not required. Experience required: The right candidate MUST have at least one year of full-time pediatric experience working with medically complex children or in an acute care pediatric setting. Must possess nursing knowledge, skills, and experience to adequately provide quality and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include: Administer and/or supervise the administration of prescribed medications and treatments Coordinate rehabilitative services Monitor clinical behavior and nutritional status Monitor growth and development Implement infection control procedures Communicate findings to primary health care provider Manage medical emergencies Document nursing services provided Alert the nursing director about changes in medical status Coordinate the services provided by other staff Provide health education to a child---s parent Serve as an advocate to assist the child Participate in interdisciplinary staff meetings NJ RN License Required Covid-19 Vaccination Required Powered by JazzHR N7z6uGaJwa
