  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct patient care, ensuring coordination and accountability for care delivered.
  • Diagnose and treat health responses, provide case finding, counseling, and restorative care while supervising LPNs, RNPs, and other support staff.
  • Develop individualized care plans addressing physical, psychosocial, spiritual needs, and discharge planning, ensuring timely reassessment and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, act as a clinical resource, assume charge responsibilities, and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
  • Engage in professional development through education, certifications, committee involvement, and participation in research and community organizations. Required Experience:
    • 2 - 3 years' experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center. Education:
      • BSN prepared. License and Certifications:
        • Registered Nurse License - New York
        • NCC, BLS, ACLS. PALS, AHA Stroke certification.
