WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Mammography Technologist for a local contract job in New Hyde Park, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Mammography Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 9 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a prestigious hospital located in New Hyde Park, New York. Job Function: Day Shift. 8am - 5pm. Performs mammogram imaging procedures. Demonstrates competency in mammography positioning, compression & technique factor. Ensure all radiographic images are appropriately labeled as specified by the department SOP. Evaluate images for technical acceptability and ensure images are transmitted to PACS in a timely fashion. Job Requirements: 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technician. Must hold AART Certification. Current New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography. Must comply with MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) requirements. Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.
