Job Description Job Description Nurse Practitioner - Allergy Pay - Based on Experience and candidate preferences About the Role We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner with a focus in Allergy & Immunology to join our growing team in the Bronx. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity offering both full-time and part-time schedules, designed for providers who are passionate about improving patients’ lives while working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment . Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive allergy assessments , including patient history and physical exams. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic allergic conditions (rhinitis, asthma, urticaria, anaphylaxis, etc.). Order and interpret allergy testing (skin, blood, spirometry, etc.). Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans , including allergen immunotherapy. Educate and counsel patients/families on allergen avoidance, medications, and lifestyle management. Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers for continuity of care. Maintain accurate EMR documentation and adhere to infection control and safety protocols . Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development . Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program . Active NP license in New York State. National NP certification (FNP, ANP, or equivalent). Prior experience in Allergy/Immunology highly preferred (minimum 1 year). BLS certification required (ACLS preferred). Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills . What We Offer Competitive salary (commensurate with experience). ?
