Job Description:

Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of compassionate healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing essential support to our physical therapists and delivering high-quality, tailored rehabilitation therapy. Our mission is to enhance patient recovery and improve quality of life through personalized treatment plans in physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. Record patient responses and progress, and report details to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and families about treatments and exercise regimes to be continued at home. Prepare equipment and treatment areas for use by performing routine maintenance and ensuring a clean, safe environment. Perform clerical duties, such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and documenting healthcare billing submissions and reports. Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and equipment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to document treatments in patient files. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks such as moving patients and operating medical equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license. CPR certified.
