qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
19140! Job Title Float Pool RN ICU City/State: Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania Shift: AM (07:00 – 19:30) Contract Length: 12 weeks
Start Date: 02/16/2026 Job Description: Assesses, implements, and
evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of
the licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about principles,
theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice.
Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient,
patient's family member(s)/significant others, professional peers,
and other members of the health care team to individualize patient
care. Directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient
care according to the standards of nursing practice, administrative
and departmental policies, and procedures. Professional education,
training, or additional certifications may be required by specialty
area. Responsibilities: ICU RNs will float to all ICUs, step-down
units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders. May also float to
Women's and Family if needed, but only assigned to the ICU at this
facility. Ratios will not exceed 1:3 when assigned to any
unit/hospital. RNs are normally assigned 24 hours in advance to any
unit/hospital; can be pulled mid-shift to float to any unit or
hospital. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
(Required) PA Registered Nurse License (Required) Basic Life
Support - BLS (Required) Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) 1 Year
experience in area of clinical specialty (Preferred) 5 Benefits of
