Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Surgical Technologist for a local contract job in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Mullica Hill, NJ. Job Function: /n - Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures. /n - Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy. /n - Prepare patients for surgery as requested. /n - Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed. /n - Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques. /n - Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation. /n - Take inventory and order surgical supplies as needed. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 4 years of experience. /n - CST Required. /n - BLS. /n - Experience with large number of total joints and minimally invasive spine like ACDF, posterior lumbar.
