Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team, focusing on delivering high-quality rehabilitation services. The role involves assisting physical therapists in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and facilitating activities that improve patient health and wellness. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care, enhance our patient-centric rehabilitation services, and support a range of therapeutic activities in our skilled nursing environment. Assist physical therapists in the execution of treatment plans. Document patient's response to treatment and progress towards goals. Educate patients and families about health programs and maintenance. Operate and maintain therapy equipment. Implement therapeutic exercises and use relevant modalities. Assist in various patient mobility activities. Proficiency in therapeutic techniques and modalities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle physical demands of patient assistance Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs Evidence of strong teamwork and collaboration skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in applicable state. CPR and First Aid certifications.
