Wurzak Hotel Group is looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales
Manager at our gorgeous property, Sheraton Valley Forge . In this
role, you will be responsible for developing and executing
effective sales strategies that drive revenue in the SMERF market.
From generating leads and crafting tailored proposals to closing
deals and building lasting relationships, you’ll play a key role in
growing our group business and showcasing everything Sheraton
Valley Forge has to offer. The Company operates 24 hours a day and
7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift
days, starting and ending times, and hours worked in a week.
Essential Functions Be the Face of Sheraton Valley Forge:
Professionally represent the hotel in all interactions with
customers, community partners, and industry contacts. Develop New
Business: Identify demand generators and new business opportunities
through research, networking, and outreach—including event planners
and local organizations. Sales Strategy & Execution: Leverage
industry tools and reports (e.g., STR reports), monitor market
trends, and develop strategic plans to outperform the competition.
Create Winning Proposals: Conduct site tours and prepare
customized, creative proposals that impress and convert. Close the
Deal: Negotiate contracts, manage client expectations, and ensure
smooth transitions from sale to execution—while meeting or
exceeding individual sales goals. Manage Key Accounts: Build
long-term relationships with clients and act as a liaison during
event planning to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with hotel departments
to ensure alignment and seamless execution of group bookings and
events. Administrative Excellence: Maintain accurate sales records,
reports, and documentation. Comply with company policies and
hospitality regulations. Qualifications The Company may consider
equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience
providing the knowledge, skills and abilities cited below.
Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality
Management, Marketing, Business, or equivalent work experience. 5
years of hotel sales experience, preferably in the SMERF market.
Proven success in sales goal achievement and business development.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to travel locally and occasionally overnight for client
meetings and events. Knowledge of the King of Prussia/Greater
Philadelphia hospitality market a plus. Compensation and Benefits
