the world.Job SummaryThe Technical Project Manager is part of the
Global Product and Engineering Operations team. The scope of this
role spans the global Engineering organization and is responsible
for managing strategic short- and long-term projects. The
predominant focus for this role will be on Information Security
(InfoSec) and Compliance projects. Initial projects will focus on
cloud security, infrastructure security, endpoint security,
hardening standards and secure configurations. You will interact
with a variety of stakeholders across the product and engineering
disciplines, vertical teams, senior management, and other key
partners. There is also an opportunity to streamline recurring
processes by applying a systematic approach.Job DescriptionCore
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing cross platform Infrastructure and
technical implementation with focus in Information Security to
ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Act as a liaison with stakeholders across engineering to
explain InfoSec requirements for cloud security, infrastructure
security, endpoint security and/or other security domains, as it
relates to the projects.
- Act as a liaison with appropriate company personnel and vendors
to ensure project meets compliance standards and set deadlines.

- Coordinate multiple complex high priority tasks.
- Assure feature and functionality and performance metrics
requirements are defined.
- Initiate, facilitate and monitor specific engineering and
information security project progress and performance to assure
quality and on time delivery. Ensure milestone dates are met.
Monitor risks during various stages of the project and escalate
issues to the appropriate level of management. - Create and track
end to end project plan in conjunction with the lead engineer.
Track tasks and milestones across all parties, including
vendors.
- Report on project's progress as required by product engineering
management. - Maintain project status reports on projects. Create
and manage contingency plans for projects. -Communicate updates on
major milestones, escalations, and status to lead engineer and lead
project manager.
- Estimate and manage budgets. Evaluate change request impact
against communicated timelines.
- Coordinate scoping and architecture review activities for
initiated projects and follow process for project approval at
architecture initiation board.
- Coordinate change request generation and tracking.
- Make project scheduling decisions in conjunction with the lead
engineer or facilitate conversations necessary for decision
making.
- Identify and manage critical path and risk areas and create
risk response and mitigation plans. Escalate issues as required to
unblock open issues.
- Work with other project managers to track and manage
engineering and information security project dependencies.
- Manage within budgetary objectives set by manager, monitoring
and controlling costs within functional area. Work with lead
engineer and management to set project specific budget, as
applicable. Responsible for tracking project spend rates based on
the budgets.

- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be flexible
to periodically adjust working hours to accommodate collaboration
with global team members in multiple remote locations and time
zones.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. -Experience /
Skills
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure and cloud environments (i.e.
AWS) with a focus in security.
- Good understanding of information security concepts and
practices.
- Working experience with information security policies,
procedures, and protocols.
- Strong knowledge of the CIA (Confidentiality, Integrity,
Availability) principles of information security.
- Basic technical knowledge in implementing security tools and
controls such as Crowdstrike agents, security hardening, and End Of
Life Operation System deprecation.
- Insight into cybersecurity frameworks like NIST or ISO
27001
- Minimum of 2 years of experience or working knowledge in
information security.
- 5-7 years of experience managing software and/or engineering
projects.
- Experience explaining complex business concepts to engineers
and explaining technically complex product roadmaps to business
leaders.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills. - Speak,
listen, and write in a clear, thorough, and timely manner using
appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques. - Be
transparent.
- Experience using business intelligence and data analytics tools
(Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.Employees at all levels
