Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain wireless communication equipment (antennas, radios, access points, and cabling) Perform site surveys and signal testing to optimize network performance Troubleshoot and resolve wireless connectivity, hardware, and network issues Climb towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures to install or service equipment Align and test antennas to ensure proper signal strength and coverage Run, terminate, and label cables (Ethernet, fiber, coaxial, grounding) Document installations, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately Follow safety procedures, including fall protection and electrical safety standards Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors Assist with network upgrades and expansion projects as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience with wireless systems, networking, or telecommunications (or equivalent training) Basic understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching) Ability to use hand and power tools safely Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a wireless, telecom, or network technician Knowledge of RF principles and wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, point-to-point, point-to-multipoint) Tower climbing or fall protection certification CompTIA Network or similar certification Experience with fiber optic installation and testing Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to climb ladders, towers, and rooftops Ability to work in varying weather conditions Work Environment A combination of indoor and outdoor work Travel to customer sites and network locations as required On-call or after-hours work may be required The work environment may be loud and will require hearing protection
