Job Description:
What you’ll do: As a member of our Software Engineering team,
you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and
maintaining software components that support the critical trading
and reporting functions of our business. You will collaborate
closely with experienced engineers, product managers, the
investment operations team, and external vendors to meet the
growing demands of our increasingly complex operations. You'll also
have the opportunity to work with modern technology paradigms on
Google Cloud, including modular architecture, functional
programming, and reactive applications. More specifically you will:
Contribute to and help implement high-performance, web services and
APIs to support our client-facing asset management platforms Model
business data into the right data store in collaboration with
senior engineers and architects Support and extend infrastructure
automations Hands-on code, write unit tests, and participate in
code reviews Work closely with Ethic's engineering, product,
design, and business teams throughout all phases of the software

to the table: 6 years of working experience Strong knowledge of
Java Strong knowledge of RDBMS. NoSQL experience a plus Solid
understanding of functional programming paradigms Familiarity with
the performance challenges, concerns, and tradeoffs inherent to web
applications Experience with unit testing tools Track record
delivering performant web applications Solid knowledge of data
structures, algorithms, and software architecture Passionate about
software, technology, and the financial services industry, with
curiosity about how technology is transforming the space. About

future for the world. Compensation & Benefits: Compensation at
Ethic is a combination of base salary, equity (stock options) in
the company, and benefits. The base salary for this role will range
from $200,000 - $220,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
