Solutions Associate Client Advisor will work closely with a
specialized team of insurance asset management sales professionals
to support our asset management sales and advisory efforts with
insurance companies. This person will work closely with the entire
value chain of business partners (investment, client service,
marketing, consultant coverage, RFP, and operational teams) to
accomplish our business growth objectives. The Contributions You
Will Make
- Provide support to all senior members of the Insurance
Solutions team to cover marketing and distribution of Fixed Income
Solutions as well as Alternatives and Equities. The chosen
candidate will be a vital component for both retaining and bringing
in new sales in these areas.
- Maintain and partner with the Sales team to help support the
expansion of existing client relationships with new
strategies.
- Be responsible for client, industry, and market research.
- Develop a strong internal network and a deep understanding of
Voya's offerings and the problems they can solve for
clients.Minimum Knowledge and ExperienceAn enthusiastic
self-starter who is passionate about developing knowledge in one of
the fastest growing areas of the asset management industry and
connecting with people.
- Undergraduate degree with 2+ years of work experience within
the (insurance or institutional) asset management industry.
- Demonstrated ability to learn complex investment/product
concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective teamwork
skills.
- Excellent awareness of interdepartmental relationships.
- Strong project management, organizing, planning, and
presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a background in creative problem
solving.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven
environment without compromising accuracy and quality of
output.
- Strong sense of ownership of projects and tasks.
- Openness to new ideas and acquiring new skills to retain a
competitive advantage.
- Specialist knowledge in Fixed Income and/or alternatives
preferred.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are not a prerequisite but are
required within 90 days of filling the position.
- Financial/Asset Management educational support will be provided
where necessary.
- Location: New York or Atlanta preferred, but option to work
remotely. Willingness to travel as needed.Preferred Knowledge and
Experience
- Experience at a multi-strategy firm preferred.
- MBA or MS in Finance a plus.
- CFA designation or having passed CFA Level 1 is a
plus.#LI-BMSCompensation Pay Disclosure: Voya is committed to pay
that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for
comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary
range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in
the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers
incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales
incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to
reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please
note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to
perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the
amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this
posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted
salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work
experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level
and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time
roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours
