Edison, NJAbout the role The Supply Chain Optimization Analyst
plays a vital role in enhancing AAK supply chain operations by
providing essential analytical support to the Capacity Planning
Manager. At the core of this position is the development and
application of advanced capacity models driven from statistics,
logic and fact-based methods. Beyond standard reporting, the
analyst is instrumental in presenting insightful and actionable
recommendations to the Capacity Planning Manager. The successful
candidate will have a strong understanding of best practices supply
chain processes, data modeling + analysis, and supply chain network
optimization.Responsibilities Develops and implements statistical
data models as an input to "what-if" and "make-buy"
scenariosReports and conveys the production network capacity
considering resources, utilization, labor, maintenance, project
downtime, etc.,Manages new production, conversion, and discontinued
items process.Reports and conveys inventory levels across all sites
as it relates to DOH inventory targets.Prepares supply chain data
driven insights for S&OP related processes.Maintains supply
chain master data for master planning including planning rates,
hours available, shifts/days/hours available, BOM, spec, models,
etc.Seeks to streamline and improve all aspects of supply chain
network.About you Bachelor's degree in supply chain management,
business, or a related field.Several years of experience in supply
chain planning.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
ApplicationsExperience with analytics, modeling platforms, data
manipulation software and visualization tools (Python, JavaScript,
Tableau, Microsoft Suite).Proficiency in supply chain management
software and data analysis tools.Ability to work effectively in a
team and lead cross-functional projects.Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills.Experience with inventory/capacity
management and optimization.Excellent communication and negotiation
skills.Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as
