development The Partner Relationship Manager (Retailers) is the
focal point between Spring Systems and our retailer partners. This
person will develop relationships with buyers and vendor management
at major retailers. This person is responsible for building,
maintaining, and growing strategic partnerships with external
companies (retailers), achieving mutual business goals by fostering
strong relationships, identifying new opportunities for
collaboration, maximizing referrals from the retailer and ensuring
partner satisfaction through effective communication and ongoing
support. The person in this role will essentially act as a liaison
between our company and our partners to maximize the value of the
partnership. Sales - This person will also look for new business
opportunities with our existing retail partners and develop sales
opportunities with new retailers (new sales). RESPONSIBILITIES
INCLUDE: Partner - Relationship management - Regularly
communicating with key decision-makers at major retailers such as
Nordstrom, Macys, Walmart, Neiman Marcus, etc. to understand their
needs, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships.
Partner - Verify new customer onboarding success as we onboard
vendors that work with these retailers. Sales explore new
opportunities with existing retailer partners. Sales - prospect,
develop and close business opportunities with new retailers.
MANDATORY SKILLS: 2 years sales experience, selling to retailers
(e.g. apparel or other vendor sales) Teamwork and good
communication skills are a must. Four year university/college
degree preferred or equivalent experience. Ability to visit
customers and prospects in New York City and the tri-state area.
Ability to work with limited supervision. ADDITIONAL SKILLS
(helpful but not mandatory): Previous apparel, retail, logistics or
import business experience is a plus. ERP software sales experience
