Position : Analytical Chemist Location : Franklin Lakes, NJ
Duration : 12 Months Total Hours/week : 40.00 1 st Shift Client:
Medical Device Company Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US
Citizens Or GC Holders Only) Job Description: Conduct material
and/or chemical characterizations to support Specimen Management
projects Prepare samples/prototypes for internal or external
analysis Develop and execute test protocols and document results in
a timely fashion Review documentation for accuracy Maintenance of
equipment and laboratory facilities Minimum qualifications: B.S.
degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or related disciplines Good
understanding of material structure-property relationships Hands-on
experience with analytical or material characterization
instrumentation such as INSTRON, DSC/TGA, DMA and FTIR, UV-VIS
Hands-on experience with wet laboratory equipment and skills.
Strong inter-personal and communication skills Preferred
qualifications M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Material Science, chemistry,
or related discipline Experience and knowledge in blood biology and
clinical assays Proficient with Minitab Experience in design of
experiments Excellent written and verbal communication skills as
well as ability to communicate effectively with scientists and
engineers from a wide range of technical backgrounds.
